1. Get a healthy gut

70% of your immune system is based on your gut health.

Many things can damage the gut lining leading to leaky gut and inflammation: 

  • antibiotics

  • ibuprofen, acetaminophen

  • artificial sweeteners

  • stress

2. Sleep

Research has shown that sleep has a positive affect T cell function. T cells attach to pathogens and potentially harmful foreign bodies. Your constant defenders.

Maintain a regular bedtime. Aim for 7-9 hours (more for children). If you struggle with insomnia consider acupuncture, guided meditation and supplements to help.
